Top reviews for Natasha in "Amsterdam Express" after being spotted on Albanian TV show

April 27, 2014

Natasha Goulden was spotted doing an interview on the famous Albanian talk-show "Top Channel" TV, right after the premier of "Amsterdam Express".

Natasha plays an eastern European girl "Anna" who gets caught up in the world of Albanian gangster and gets forced into prostitution.

The Albanian viewers have given "Anna" great critic. "Anna" has been listed as the top billed character in the film and the critics has given great reviews regarding her character.

The actress has been mentioning on several interviews that she is happy that the Albanian public saw "Anna" portrayed in the right way. She wanted to focus on the girl as a person and not the prostitution. Here is what Kron Sadiku, Albanian journalist and TV presenter for Klan Kosova TV had to say about "Anna";

"From the first scene, I saw Anna as a submissive girl. It changed from the first window scene where there was a part of her resisting and being embarrassed about being a prostitute when she was confronted with seeing Bekim outside of the window for the first time after seeing each other in the detonation camp.

There was later on a change again when I started to think that she had accepted the prostitution that had been forced upon her because she couldn't find a way to escape without putting herself and her sister in danger.

When you watch Anna you will understand that she is not a quitter, even though she has moments when she sees no way out. She is always fighting for her rights and you can see she is always trying to find a way to escape, all the time.

Natasha's performance was amazing and so professional. She made me love Anna's innocence and strength. When you think about that she was sacrificing her self for her sister ... Isn't she just great? Natasha makes you love Anna."

The film is being submitted for several Film Festivals global and it will have it's UK screening in a couple of months. UK dates yet to come.

(You can view the interview with Natasha on the Albanian talkshow Top Channel in the window above on the right hand corner on the website.)

Article: http://nyheter24.se/noje/kandissverige/731331-svenskan-som-foljde-sin-drom-ska-spela-mot-tom-cruise

"The Swede who followed her dream - to play against Tom Cruise"

"Swedish 19 -year-old Natasha Goulden from Stocksund is playing in movies with big stars like Tom Cruise. Now she is investing in making their own movie . - I have people now who are with me and wants to invest in my ideas, she tells Nyheter24. 2012-11-10 11:52

For almost a year ago, the 19 -year-old Natasha Goulden moved from small Stocksund to the world metropolis of London . The opportunities to succeed as an actor felt bigger . And yes , she was right .

- I started to do little hostess jobs to earn money and then I started to look into agencies and going on auditions and doing short films, she tells Nyheter24 .

The short film " Rose", with Natasha in the lead role as the character Lucy, took it all the way to the Cannes Film Festival. It did not win, but the exposure was crucial. Not least because the contacts Natasha clenched during the film festival. Now she is in the midst of filming "All You Need is Kill" with world stars like Tom Cruise, Bill Paxton and Emily Blunt .

- I cannot tell you too much, but it's a smaller role but it's a role that still needs to be done.

She also did the role of Anastasia in the short film " Caviar " which is planned to be seen in Venice Film Festival. A film about the Russian mafia and the young , glamorous Russian woman who wants to live luxury life .

- She's a spy, a killer.

It's a big move. What made you decide to move?

- That's what I wanted to do. I only live once, I should do what makes me happy.

She gives the impression of being an exuberant happy woman when we talk , but often chooses dark and extreme roles.

- I really enjoy playing manipulative roles, psychological thrillers or fantasy. I think it's so much fun. Extreme and raw.

Before the move Natasha studied law and economics. At the same time , she was in theatre and appeared in a commercial for the Swedish furniture store Mio. She was also on tour with the clothing label Panos Emporio and did modelling for their bikini brand. But the lack of film opportunities led her to pack the bags .

- I have recently got a new agent so we'll see what happens. You just have to fight and be happy and network and inspire others.

To record a movie

Now she is planning on making her own feature film that she has written.

- I have people who are interested in investing in the idea.

She has contact with a person who she wants to keep secret .

- Now I cannot mention any names, she says , and continues:

- I have got a few projects going on, at the moment it is fun being creative."
